I did it.
I lost that pesky 1lb and another one on top. 2lbs in one week is actually a big deal for me, I am an extremely slow loser and can literally go for a month without losing any thing some times. I would be the happiest person alive if I were able to lose 2lbs a week consistently. That is part of the reason that setting myself mini goals is so important, looking at losing a few pounds to half a stone doesn’t seem any where near as daunting as having over 5 stone to lose!
My next mini goal is 12 stone 8lb, that will mean that overall I have lost 3 stone. I don’t expect to get there for at least another month or so though. Hopefully by my birthday, which also happens to be the day I started my weight loss journey one year ago ![]()
