Need to try something new I think.
The shopping trip didn’t go too well, I came back with 1 pair of crop joggers…which are totally hot and were only £3 in the sale, and a pair of jeans reduced from £25 to just £7, but that I am now not convinced about. I don’t know what happened, I just ran out of time and although I did try a lot of pants on, none fit ‘nicely’ - here’s what the shopping trip taught me…I need to change up my exercise routine and get some weight off my belly, because the elliptical has obviously done wonders for my bottom and thighs as every thing was hanging off me at the back! I know I should be happy about this, and I am I guess…but it’s new to me, although I have always been overweight I have always been in proportion before, so this is new to me, I have no idea how to deal with it and dressing right for my new shape.
I need to switch things up any way, because I weighed in last night…no loss at all for the 4th week in a row, bah. I have been really trying as well because I am going on holiday for 2 weeks next week and you just know I am gonna put on a few pounds then.
I am going to see how things go while I am away then formulate a new plan, I might increase my calories by 200 a day and start doing aerobics 3 nights a week instead of just always elliptical.

I’ve been considering getting a heart rate monitor myself. I use the handgrips on the elliptical (my favorite as well) to monitor during my cardio sessions. But eventually I’m going to want to take my workouts outside and having a monitor with me would be a good thing. Thanks for the post on how yours is working. Good stuff!
