Around 10 years ago my mother discovered she had epilepsy, she suffered several attacks over the first few years and it was pretty scary stuff - thankfully now she no longer has the fits, she’s well passed the 4 years without point now and has been allowed to drive again for a good few years. Obviously we are all glad that it didn’t get worse or start to manifest itself in different ways.

She used to have to wear a talisman around her neck, informing of her condition and she hated it - mainly because it looked so ugly, she likes her nice jewellery does my mum so wearing this ugly clunky thing didn’t float her boat. If only we’d known about sites such as Universal Medical ID UK who sell personalised medical alert necklaces - they offer a wide variety of styles and customisation, so I am sure she’d be able to find something she’d actually want to wear
