I am going to do some research on ‘Cheat Days’ – I always just thought they were an excuse for people to pig out, I didn’t realise there was some logic to it and it might actually help me out! When I’d hear or see people talking about it, I’d just gloss over and not really pay attention – but for some reason last week I was reading a thread about it over on caloriecount.about.com and realised that the logic is that it gives your metabolism a jolt and keeps it on it’s toes, therefore actually helping you in the long run.
Like I say, I am going to do some proper research into it and see if it really is beneficial, and how exactly you are meant to do the ‘cheating’.
