I have lost another pound at tonights weigh in, oh happy days, that was an unexpected one really.

I will definitely have to continue on doing what I am doing for now, as it seems to be working — I’d be thrilled to lose a pound a week, steadily, I’d rather than that lose 3lbs, then nothing for a month etc. I would be at my next mini goal by November!

The thing is, I don’t 100% know what it is I am doing at the moment that’s working…I am not counting calories as strictly, just keeping a general eye on my intake…I am allowing myself treats and occasional high calorie foods I wouldn’t normally touch with a barge pole and I am not killing myself when I work out…when I start I decide that I should do a minimum of 30 minutes and any thing over that is a bonus, last week most days that worked out to me doing 40 – 50 minutes and I’d feel good about that, whereas before if I did anything less than 1 hour I’d feel like I’d failed.

So what’s working for me at the moment, is not trying as hard — and that’s a little scary, because I work well when I have strict rules to follow.

But I am sticking with it for now at least :)
