I’ll tell you what I need and what I should have added to my Christmas wish list this year if I had thought about it a little sooner — new work out gear, believe it or not I have not bought any thing new since I started this weight loss journey. I am still using the same two pairs of trainers, I am still using the same two sports bras and I am still using the same two pairs of jogging bottoms even though I have lost over 4 stone and dropped 4 dress sizes — my jogging bottoms have been taken in more times than I can even remember haha.
I am always reluctant to buy new though because my body changes so often it seems a waste to go out and spend a fortune on new gear every few months and I think it’s important to buy high quality and reliable brands such as North Face when it comes to exercise gear because unlike regular clothes most of them actually serve a function so have more requirements than just ‘looking pretty’ which is usually the only thing I am bothered about — hence places like Matalan and Primark being my favourite high street stores teehee
Now the only question is, do I treat myself to some new gear in the January sales and hope I can get myself some killer bargains — or do I wait a little longer, hope the stuff I currently have lasts a while more and ask for some for my upcoming birthday? Well, I have waited 2 years…I think I can safely wait another 2 months

I think I’m one of those people who don’t really care what clothes they’re wearing while working out… I mean, if they’re not falling apart and don’t restrict my movements, they’re still good to wear! I have these old grey sweatpants which I absolutely love and I would never throw them out… wear them to jogging in the morning, but I must admit they’re not good for anything else – no lounging around the house! They’re actually quite embarrassing… Perhaps I should rethink my decision

My jogging pants haven’t seen much use in a while but I do a lot of outdoor activities and I do agree that buying outdoor brands and spending that bit more for the quality is worth it as they do serve a great purpose and will perform when they are needed.
