I am OK with that. I weighed in on Christmas Eve and had lost 1lb, making me 11.3…but I didn’t log it because I knew I wouldn’t be staying at that weight for long.
On Sundays weigh in I was 11.5, so I gained 2lbs in the three days I was off my diet — ouch — but really I am OK with that because I enjoyed myself and it only feels like a 1lb gain thanks to the 1lb loss, and I appreciated every single ‘naughty’ thing I ate.
The best thing is that I know I can jump straight back to being good as gold and working out every day. This time last year I was not ready to do that, I knew if I gave myself an inch I would take a mile but this year I feel in control enough to be able to splurge for 3 days and then go straight back
