There are so many facets and variables that define good living — a healthy diet and getting regular exercise is the main thing I do to maintain a good lifestyle, but there is so much more to having a happy heart and soul. I came across a site called Scrubs at Scrubsmag.com a few days ago and am very impressed with it’s content and the message it aims to share. Aimed mainly at nurses and health care professionals it offers advice on issues I would never even think of, like how to look good in the unflattering scrubs nurses are required to wear or how to take care of your nails as all the required hand washing can be very harsh on them.
The site is different from others I have seen in the past, it isn’t clinical and boring — it’s actually in the style of the sort of fashion and beauty advice magazine sites I frequent regularly.
They have several interesting and useful articles for me in the weight loss section, offering practical advice on how to fit working out into a busy schedule. A lot of people think that because they don’t have the time to go to the gym for hours at a time they cannot get a good work out, this article describes how 10 minutes here and 15 minutes there really can be effective.
