I decided to have a naughty week last week while I was away visiting family – there’s no better time to do it because obviously it’s harder to stick to the diet and work out routine when you are out of your comfort zone and I actually do think it’s healthy to ease off now and then.
When you are as strict as I am with myself a high calorie period can do you the world of good.
I ate chocolate, I ate sausage rolls from Greggs, I ate fish and chips by the seaside and I had the worlds biggest kebab among other things.
Arriving home to see what ‘damage’ had been done was nerve wracking, there are no scales at my families house which is a good thing because if there were and I saw a gain I would stop right then and there.
I was 9.7 when I left and I was 9.9 when I returned – a 2lb gain I could live with given how much I had eaten and I wasn’t that concerned because I hoped it would drop straight back off and was mainly just water weight and from salt.
I’ve hopped straight back into my good behaviour – healthy low cal diet and lots of working out – weigh in day is today so I will have to let you know how it goes
