My body is really working against me this week. I started Couch to 5k finally and because I get migraines so often I knew I wasn’t going to be able to get through the full 9 weeks without interruption – but I didn’t expect it to happen so soon.
I went to bed on Wednesday night with a really bad one. Thursday was my second run day – when I got up I took a migraine tablet right away and come 7pm as I was feeling OK I decided to go for it, I did alright while I was out there but as soon as I got home – no surprises to learn I totally crashed out with it. Exercise is not good for a migraine.
I was still bad with it on Friday and Saturday came (my next run day) and again I was feeling OK, not amazing but I probably could have gone out again – but I decided I was better off leaving it until today, giving myself that extra day to recover (it was also boiling hot yesterday which I thought really wouldn’t help!).
I have woke up today in serious ‘woman pain’ as my monthly visitor has decided to turn up. I get terrible pains on the first day that I come on and usually spend the day in bed feeling sorry for myself and again it’s boiling outside so I really don’t know what to do. It’s another 4 hours before I would normally go out so I guess I will just wait and see how I feel then!
Come on body, give me a break!
