Have you heard about WeReward.com? It's a new system from Izea that allows you to earn points at millions of places across the USA.

And the cool thing is it's all done via your mobile device, you can currently get WeReward for iPhone or WeReward for Android and a Blackberry option is on the way at the end of the month.

Every point you earn is worth 1 cent, so a 500 point task will earn you $5. There are three main ways to earn points – through check ins, tasks and through referring your friends.

Check ins require you to physically go to places in your area and usually take a photo of yourself performing a task such as eating sushi, you then send the photo via various social media sites such as facebook and twitter and once confirmed the points are added to your account.

Tasks are similar to check ins but can be done anywhere, you don't need to physically be in any specific location.

And finally referring friend which is pretty self explanatory – you tell your friends how great WeReward is and once they are signed up and start completing tasks you'll earn a nice little 10% of all the points they earn along the way.

The major downside of WeReward? It's currently only available for those living in the USA so us Brits can't take part – boo! Hopefully they will expand and make it available in other locations at some point
