I have a bookmarks folder full of funny sites and I now have a new one to add to it, it’s a site I came across just a few days ago called uBerhumor.com. It is updated on a daily basis with new content and as well as funny pictures they have some videos as well – the content is laid out into categories such as ‘fail’ and ‘cute’ so you can jump straight to the kind of content that you know amuses you personally. For me I love animal pictures but am willing to look at every thing as lots of things tickle me – I tend to like slightly inappropriate and dirty humour as well, I guess I have an immature sense of humour but I’m OK with that. The more we can find to laugh about the better, right?

It’s quite amazing actually how far these kinds of software have come in recent years – they offer so much more than they used to and generally at a fraction of the cost.

If I really could spend $5000 in Matalan I would be in heaven, I have always wanted to go on a shopping spree.

Because I am always losing weight and changing shape at the moment I am going through a lot of clothes, it seems like I buy something one minute and the next minute I need to buy a new one. I must have bought 10 pairs of jeans in the last year alone.

So I would definitely buy lots of pants in different sizes as those seem to be the thing I need to upgrade the most. I’d also get some killer accessories because a girl can never own too many handbags and shoes. I’d really like some nice long riding boots now that winter in setting in again also. Plus of course I would try and get some new gym gear, now that I am working out in public I really need some new stuff

It would probably suck if you weren’t a shopping fan but since I love nothing more than shopping I love having any excuse The only actual downsides are that I keep buying gorgeous clothes that fit me for a few months and then have to get sold on or relegated to the spare wardrobe. There is also of course the issue of cost.

It’s a good job this weekend is Kmart Bluelight Specials weekend! That’s a great way to grab some bargains, I’ve spent a fortune there in previous years but got a lot of bang for my buck — last year the timing was perfect as we’d just moved into the new house. Guess when my lovely other half is getting dragged out of bed and down to KMart to on Saturday? Early, that’s when

So I emailed the manufacturers directly and am now waiting for a response from them. Hopefully they will agree to either fix or replace it for me.

As you know, I am such a big fan of the show I watched the UK version before it was axed, I watch the USA version and I watch the mighty Australian one! The new UK one will follow the Australian style of being on nightly, rather than just once a week and I cannot wait.

I actually enjoyed helping people to learn, that’s why I registered to do it in the first place after all. But I couldn’t stand that no one seemed to want to do any thing for themselves, they’d ask questions that were already covered in the tutorials and often expected you to just do it for them. Ugh.

WebDesignForIdiots.net does what it says in the title, offers help for web design for idiots. The main page website tutorials cover tables, advertising and a useful list of web design “don’ts”, including not putting white text on a black background — this should be highlighted and made into a massive font size, I absolutely hate that, my eyes can’t read white on black for more than a few seconds, I would never use a site using it regularly because I physically can’t!

Overall the site is really helpful for newbies and even more experienced users alike

This year however I have something new to take into consideration, whereas in the past the choice of destination and hotel would come down to where had a good night life, places to eat and things to do during the day — it now comes down to where has lots of activities, places to go for long walks and a nice peaceful atmosphere.

Ah the wonders of becoming older, more sensible and really more interested in our health.

Last summer we went away to Tenby in South Wales, with FBM Holidays, a self catering firm that we used to use when I was a kid. Tenby is definitely a possibility again this year, although we are opting for a Hotel rather than self catering this time around — although it does have a night life it is also a quaint little place with lots of local activities to keep us active and the whole town is built on a hill to just wandering around will keep those calories burning — so it’s the best of both worlds for us.
