Have you seen the HP- Be A Star interactive video? I came across it a few days ago now and it's a lot of fun. You basically create a video where you are the star and get a taste of what it must be like to live a celebrity lifestyle. Take a look at the one I created myself to get an idea of what it's all about
Isn't it funny? That's a picture of me in the video! It was really simple to create as well, I just connected it to my Facebook account and it gave me the choice of which of my already uploaded photos to use and filled in the details such as my name. But even if you don't have a Facebook account it's still really simple as all you do is upload a photo of yourself, enter your name and select the lovely HP laptop that most represents your personal style.
If you create a video for yourself be sure to share it with all your friends via Facebook and Twitter and once you have grab the provided bit.ly URL and send it my way – there's a competition going on where the person who sends in the most can win a HP laptop and I would love that prize to be mine. Can you believe I have never actually owned a laptop before?
And keep up to date with all the latest HP news by liking them on Facebook:

Did you know that at the moment at Pizza Hut at the moment Kids Eat Free if they are under 12 years old and accompanied by a full paying adult – in terms of cheap ways to treat the kids this half term they don't come much better than that.
A post about Pizza on a weight loss related blog?
A little strange I hear you thinking, but it isn't really – one very important lesson I have learned over the last 3 years that I have been on this journey is that no food should ever be totally off limit and it can actually do you good to eat high calorie foods now and then, both mentally and physically.
Some people call them 'cheat days' but I don't like that term as it still sounds like you are doing something wrong, I prefer to call them 'treat days'. But the body is a clever thing and if you eat low calorie food every day and stick to the same amount it gets used to it and starts to rebel – trick it, shock it and jolt it now and then by enjoying a delicious cheese laden pizza or portion of deep fried and fish and chips and you might even find you lose a little weight.
Some people will do this once a week, I do it maybe once a month and I am due my next treat day next week so I am going to grab my niece who will be on school holiday and take her to Pizza Hut with me. When I order a main course she will get the choice of either a 2 course kids meal including a drink or a kids lunchtime buffet that includes pizza, pasta and salad – absolutely free!
With the offer running right through until January 2011 I am sure we will take it up at least a few more times as well.
For all the details on the great Kids Eat Free offer from Pizza Hut please follow this link and most importantly – enjoy your treats, you deserve them

I’ve been looking at clothes shops online again – I think it’s time to treat myself to some new shoes. This is definitely a new thing of mine that I really enjoy – treating myself to something lovely and girly every time I reach a weight loss goal.
In the last few months alone I have been on 3 shopping sprees where I have bought new jeans, a new handbag and a new coat among other things and I have also had my hair cut (something I do very rarely!) and had a massage. It’s a great way to reward myself
The next thing I need to get is some shoes though, or more specifically some boots – winter is just around the corner
I found a great voucher code for 20% off at Schuh and as it’s one of my favourite shoe shops any way how could I possibly resist? I always check for voucher codes before buying anything online as there’s usually something out there that will save you at least a few pence.
The only dilemma I have now is that I don’t know which pair to go for as there are three I absolutely love – but couldn’t justify getting them all at once.
It’s a good job my parents are visiting tomorrow because my mum is always great at offering her opinion on shoes and every thing else. It’s one of the main things I have missed since moving away from home – shopping with my mum and getting her opinion on everything

Without taking a break and in under 45 minutes – I never thought I would be able to say that a few months ago, never mind three years ago when I weighed almost twice as much as I do now.
I ran my first four miler yesterday and I hope there will be many more to come. It was definitely hard, there was a point about 3 miles in when I wondered what on earth I was doing and just wanted to be home but I stuck at it and got my second wind and then felt like I could have carried on longer. I only stopped as I had not planned any further route.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Liz Claiborne New York Outlets. All opinions are 100% mine.
The fall fashion season is upon us and I could not be happier, I think it’s my favourite fashion season (also the television is pretty great
) because I just love the idea of wrapping up warm and I love wearing long boots. I have already bought a new coat this season but still want to get plenty more. It’s one of the many advantages of losing weight – there’s always an excuse to buy new clothes as the weather changes
I would love to go to the Liz Claiborne New York Outlets and just dive in. It’s hard to say how long I would be there but given I can spend 4 hours in Matalan alone I am guessing I could easily spend an entire day from dusk til dawn and that would be under normal circumstances, never mind right now when they have 40 – 70% off absolutely everything, this includes all the newest fall items, how could any girl resist?
Seriously what are you waiting for, find your nearest Liz Claiborne store, hop in your car, grab a girlfriend or two along the way and shop til you drop!

I have to admit before moving down the country to be with my fiance I expected that I would easily lose weight, at least to begin with.
My mum, although she did her best to cook healthy for me, used a lot of salt and butter and oil in her cooking even though she told me she didn’t – so moving away from that to somewhere that I am in total and complete control over my own food I thought the weight would drop off.
It hasn’t happened. I did drop a few pounds at one point getting down to just under 9 stone, but that went back on along with a few extra pounds and as of right now I am exactly where I was 5 weeks ago when I set off. It’s not ideal, but at least it’s not a gain and I do have to admit I have not been doing quite as well with my diet.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bottega Verde. All opinions are 100% mine.
I’ve been at it again, treating myself.
This definitely seems to be my new thing, rewarding myself with shopping for clothes and cosmetics and jewellery and other girlie goodness. I never used to bother treating myself so am not sure why now that I am almost at my goal weight I have started to do so, but I like it
Bottega Verde is one of my (many) favourite cosmetics brands but you could only get their products in Italy previously. Now they are coming to the USA thanks to the Internet so that we can order all their goodies online and I am very excited. I absolutely love their aloe products as I have sensitive skin and have always found aloe vera really gentle but still effective.
Check out this gorgeous Italian package they are offering as well, I think I would kill someone to own that as it would sit perfectly in my collection
That will have to wait until my next ‘treat’ though as I just spent far too much to celebrate my ‘normal’ BMI on a gorgeous brand new size 10 coat.

Well I knew it was too good to be true that I would get through the entire 9 week couch to 5k plan without a migraine, but I am annoyed it happened so late on into it when I only had a week to go.
I was due to do my first 5k (W9D1) on Monday but was struck with a really bad migraine on Sunday so there was just no chance. I had hoped I might get out today but I still don’t feel up to it – I know from experience then if I try push through a migraine it only makes it ten times worse and I am far better off just giving in to it and taking it easy for a few days.
The problem is I am going away for a week next Monday, so now won’t be able to complete the whole thing before I set off as I had planned to.
Very annoying, but hey ho that’s life.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of BH Cosmetics. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have just spent far too much time and far too much money on BH Cosmetics, but that’s OK, I deserve a treat. I have reached another weight loss goal – weighing in at 8.13 I am now under 9 stone and have not been in the 8′s since I was a very young teenager. Obviously I don’t want to reward myself with food so shopping for clothes, accessories and make up is the next best thing
I got a gorgeous new coat that is a size 10 – the lowest I have ever been and as I say, just ordered a load of gorgeous makeup goodies from BH Cosmetics. I have never used their products before but a few friends do and they have been telling me how great they are so I decided to give them a go.
The BH Cosmetics eyeshadow have come most highly recommended because it is highly pigmented, bendable and has really strong staying power which would suit my long days perfectly as I don’t want to have to worry about reapplying – once or at most twice per day is plenty for me.
I am excited for when all my packages get here

So, the day after I completed the Couch to 5k Running plan – I twisted my knee. How’s that for bad luck? I am not even totally sure how it happened, I just lost my concentration for a few seconds as there were a group of guys being rowdy and had a little wobble – five minutes later I couldn’t run any more and had to walk the rest of the way home and then could hardly walk for three days
It’s now been going on four weeks and I still can’t run on it. It’s OK in general but as soon as I run on it the pain comes back and I have to stop and then I can hardly walk on it again for a few days.
So my running career is currently on hold and I definitely miss it, I was really enjoying it and was already planning my next goals after completing couch to 5k.
I am actually moving house on the 23rd so am going to have another few weeks off then hopefully pick it up again in my new location
