This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bottega Verde. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’ve been at it again, treating myself.

This definitely seems to be my new thing, rewarding myself with shopping for clothes and cosmetics and jewellery and other girlie goodness. I never used to bother treating myself so am not sure why now that I am almost at my goal weight I have started to do so, but I like it :)

Bottega Verde is one of my (many) favourite cosmetics brands but you could only get their products in Italy previously. Now they are coming to the USA thanks to the Internet so that we can order all their goodies online and I am very excited. I absolutely love their aloe products as I have sensitive skin and have always found aloe vera really gentle but still effective.

Check out this gorgeous Italian package they are offering as well, I think I would kill someone to own that as it would sit perfectly in my collection :)

That will have to wait until my next ‘treat’ though as I just spent far too much to celebrate my ‘normal’ BMI on a gorgeous brand new size 10 coat.

Well I knew it was too good to be true that I would get through the entire 9 week couch to 5k plan without a migraine, but I am annoyed it happened so late on into it when I only had a week to go.

I was due to do my first 5k (W9D1) on Monday but was struck with a really bad migraine on Sunday so there was just no chance. I had hoped I might get out today but I still don’t feel up to it – I know from experience then if I try push through a migraine it only makes it ten times worse and I am far better off just giving in to it and taking it easy for a few days.

The problem is I am going away for a week next Monday, so now won’t be able to complete the whole thing before I set off as I had planned to.

Very annoying, but hey ho that’s life.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of BH Cosmetics. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have just spent far too much time and far too much money on BH Cosmetics, but that’s OK, I deserve a treat. I have reached another weight loss goal – weighing in at 8.13 I am now under 9 stone and have not been in the 8′s since I was a very young teenager. Obviously I don’t want to reward myself with food so shopping for clothes, accessories and make up is the next best thing :)

I got a gorgeous new coat that is a size 10 – the lowest I have ever been and as I say, just ordered a load of gorgeous makeup goodies from BH Cosmetics. I have never used their products before but a few friends do and they have been telling me how great they are so I decided to give them a go.

The BH Cosmetics eyeshadow have come most highly recommended because it is highly pigmented, bendable and has really strong staying power which would suit my long days perfectly as I don’t want to have to worry about reapplying – once or at most twice per day is plenty for me.

I am excited for when all my packages get here :)

So, the day after I completed the Couch to 5k Running plan – I twisted my knee. How’s that for bad luck? I am not even totally sure how it happened, I just lost my concentration for a few seconds as there were a group of guys being rowdy and had a little wobble – five minutes later I couldn’t run any more and had to walk the rest of the way home and then could hardly walk for three days :(

It’s now been going on four weeks and I still can’t run on it. It’s OK in general but as soon as I run on it the pain comes back and I have to stop and then I can hardly walk on it again for a few days.

So my running career is currently on hold and I definitely miss it, I was really enjoying it and was already planning my next goals after completing couch to 5k.

I am actually moving house on the 23rd so am going to have another few weeks off then hopefully pick it up again in my new location :)

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of TiVo. All opinions are 100% mine.

The good thing about the Fall TV season kicking off is that I love all the shows that are returning, the bad thing about the Fall TV seasons kicking off is that I love all the shows that are returning – hehe

See I’d love to be able to sit on my behind and just watch all the premieres that are airing at the moment, but if I do that then I don’t find the time to work out – I try to limit my TV time to no more than 2 hours per day (which is still quite a lot in my opinion) and usually try to watch it while I am eating so that I am not just ‘wasting’ time. But I need more hours in the day at the moment.

It’s a good job I have Tivo that never fails to record the things I want and even manages to pick up premieres of shows I didn’t even realise I wanted to watch until after it’s been on gone.

They also have a contest you can Enter to Win a new Tivo Slide at the moment, it only runs for a few more days so get in quick for your chance to win. Why not visit the Facebook Fan Page for more details? :)

It’s been a while since I last blogged, but a lot has changed in that time.
I moved house on August 23rd and have gone from living with my parents to living with my boyfriend – I don’t think I really realised just how much they did for me at home until it stopped because at the moment I feel like I don’t even have a minute to myself.

Things were pretty strange the first few days and we did eat a lot of take away and general bad food but we quickly got back on track and I am pleased to say we are back to good healthy eating and I have even managed to lose a couple of pounds. I weight less than 9 stone for the first time in my entire life now :)

I have also got back into running, my knee plays up a little bit still sometimes but it’s not like it was – because of the gap in running I have gone backwards a bit and am having to build it back up again, but I hope to be back up to running for around 40 minutes soon enough.

Things are looking good.

Well as you know I started and completed the couch to 5k running program – then twisted my knee and I have been benched ever since.

It’s been two weeks today since I last attempted to run and I really wanted to give it another go today as I am moving out to a completely new area on Monday, so it was going to be my final chance to run my ‘old route’, it would have been nice to say goodbye to it. But alas while packing yesterday I aggravated it again and although I probably could run on it I feel it would be stupid to do so as I have a million and one things to do over the next few days and obviously don’t want to be in pain on moving day.

Sad :(

I love reading other blogs, forums, articles and every thing else I can get my hands on related to weight loss – because even though I have been at this for over three years now there’s always something new to learn or tips and tricks others have tried to try out myself.

There are a lot of sites online that seem to concentrate on drastic weight loss though, rather than slow, steady weight loss – I suppose because that’s what a lot of people are looking for these days.

I know when I started out and did the maths in my head and realised that at the rate I was losing weight I would still be in the overweight category in three years time I almost gave up, many times. But ultimately managed to talk myself into sticking at it because that time was going to pass regardless – so I could either age three years and still be 100 pounds overweight or I could age three years and be a much more happy and confident person due to losing 100 pounds :)

I just came across another site with a wealth of information about diet and weight loss and am going to work my way through some of the posts this afternoon.

In four days time I am moving house, I am going from living with my parents at one end of the country to living with my fiance on the other end of the country.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous about what this is going to mean for my weight loss. Obviously I have all the best intentions for my diet and working out, but who knows how it’s going to actually turn out when I get into the swing of things down there. I am going to have a lot more responsibilities than I do now and I will be a lot busier.

Plus there’s still the issue that I still can’t run at the moment because of my twisted knee and I am finding it hard to motivate myself in other ways because all I want to do is RUN!

What I have decided though is there’s no point fretting about it, we’ll just have to see how it goes :)

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of WeReward. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you heard about WeReward.com? It's a new system from Izea that allows you to earn points at millions of places across the USA.

And the cool thing is it's all done via your mobile device, you can currently get WeReward for iPhone or WeReward for Android and a Blackberry option is on the way at the end of the month.

Every point you earn is worth 1 cent, so a 500 point task will earn you $5. There are three main ways to earn points – through check ins, tasks and through referring your friends.

Check ins require you to physically go to places in your area and usually take a photo of yourself performing a task such as eating sushi, you then send the photo via various social media sites such as facebook and twitter and once confirmed the points are added to your account.

Tasks are similar to check ins but can be done anywhere, you don't need to physically be in any specific location.

And finally referring friend which is pretty self explanatory – you tell your friends how great WeReward is and once they are signed up and start completing tasks you'll earn a nice little 10% of all the points they earn along the way.

The major downside of WeReward? It's currently only available for those living in the USA so us Brits can't take part – boo! Hopefully they will expand and make it available in other locations at some point :)
