I am a huge Reality TV Fan, as you may have worked out from the fact I have spoken about The Biggest Loser several times. My all time favourite is Survivor without question, always has been and probably always will be – but I also love The Amazing Race, Big Brother and even The Mole. I watch shows from all over the world, not just my native UK…I watch American, Canadian, Asian and Australian versions of most shows and I always seem to prefer the Aussie shows…Aus Big Brother is my favourite of the Big Brothers I watch, Aus Next Top Model is my favourite of the Next Top Models I watch and certainly The Biggest Loser Aus is my favourite of the Biggest Losers I watch, unlike the American and UK version it’s actually on 6 days a week so you get so much more invested in these people plus you really get to see more about how much they are working out and what they are eating etc, it’s much more involved. I am loving the current series and have to say, I think I am one of only a few people on the planet who actually like Cosi – honestly he’s playing the game and it can be annoying, but aside from that he seems like a genuinely nice bloke who loves his family, is hard working and dedicated and he often cracks me up with his commentaries

Long live Reality TV!

I was kinda annoyed when I heard the latest twist on the US season of The Biggest Loser, the two remaining women had worked their asses off and secured their own spots in the final 3…and with the power to take out their biggest threat it looked like we were set to finally see the first female winner of the US version – but no…along comes a twist….the American public get to decide who makes it through to the final with them, and I have a sneaking suspicion that America is going to vote for ‘Southern gentleman’ Roger, over competitive Mark ten fold

Mark has my vote 100%, generally I just like him more than Roger and the fact that him being in the final 3 means one of the girls has a greater chance of winning is an added bonus. I feel as though if Roger is in the final, I may as well not tune in…he had a higher BMI starting out and still has a lot of pounds to lose, he’d be near impossible to beat. With Mark we’d have a real battle on our hands, where realistically any of the 3 of them could take the title.

Voting is closed now any way, so there’s nothing to do but cross my fingers and wait for Tuesday

If any thing will push you to go harder and for longer, it’s seeing people who have lost any where from 50 to over 100 lb getting new hair dos, clothes, and a mega confidence boost…and having Bob Harper all googoo eyed telling you that you have taken his breath away.

It’s made me want a hair cut at the very least haha

I do love to play a bit of golf, I am not completely obsessed with it – but my enjoyment of it probably stems from when I was a kid and my dad was very much into it, I’d tag a long with him at the weekends and be his caddy hehe. I stopped going when I became a teenager and it was no longer cool to spend your weekends with your dad, but my enjoyment of the sport never went away and now that I am adult I like to get out there when I can, and I love the driving range. Of course it’s a great bonus that it burns calories by the bucket load and helps in keeping me fit

Now, I know how expensive golfing equipment can be so obviously it is important to get some golf insurance!

I finally got around to watching last weeks episode of The Biggest Loser USA, I am compleeeeeetly heartbroken that Bernie was eliminated – he’s been my favourite since the beginning. I used to really like his partner Brittany as well, but in the week that Paul was voted off she really wound me up and became very ‘High School’ – any way the main reason I am mentioning this, I finally worked out who that obnoxious Dan kid from the blue team reminds me of, it has been bugging me the whole season – I kept thinking it was someone I actually knew in real life, after exhausting my list of every one I have ever known I decided it must be someone from a TV show but it just would not come to me. Well, coincidentally after I had watched the episode…I watched last weeks episode of Family Guy, and finally…finally it twigged.

I wish I had been able to find a picture of Dan with his blue shirt on to show off the similarity best, but I think this still works. Honestly, if I didn’t know that Chris Griffin was a cartoon character and therefore it isn’t physically possible, I’d be convinced they were twins.
