This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of wellnessdaily.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am always on the look out for new weight loss and general health communities to join online, I have found them really useful over the last three years that I have been on this weight loss journey.

The first one I discovered was pretty basic, just allowing you to track your weight, have a profile and blog – then around a year later I found another one that was much bigger and had so much information, as well as food logs, exercise logs, tools to help you find out what calories you should be consuming each day and some really active forums.

I recently came across another one as well at www.wellnessdaily.com and it seems like it’s going to suit me down to the ground. They have so many articles covering many subjects from how to lose weight to how to keep it off once you reach your goals – this is something I need to start thinking about looking into myself.

They also have loads of videos, including one from Jillian Michaels on how to get the best out of a Kettlebell which I am watching right now, I have wanted to have a go with Kettlebells ever since I saw them on the first UK series of The Biggest Loser.

Wellnessdaily.com also have a contest going on at the moment via Twitter where you can win gym memberships and a years supply of Jennie-o turkey among other things – you can read all the information about how to enter that by following this link.

I don’t think Wellnessdaily is going to take over from my favourite community just yet as they don’t have many interactive features but with so many articles and constantly updating content it’s definitely going into my bookmarks folder

That title makes it sound like I have a drink problem, ha. I can assure you that I don’t, even before I made the decision to stop drinking alcohol I wasn’t a heavy drinker. Maybe 3 or 4 drinks per week, usually on a Tuesday night in my local pub with my other half and some friends.

When I decided to do this weight loss thing, and started to learn about calories – I thought ‘Why waste calories on booze, calories are for eating not drinking” – Give me the choice between a pint of stellar or a bowl of cereal and the cereal wins hands down every time. I haven’t struggled at all without it, though when I started I honestly thought it’d just be a little fad and I’d be drinking again within the month. Go me.

If you use eBay at the moment to buy and sell online, as I do – then you’ll probably be sick of all of the fees you are charged and are looking for a more affordable alternative! If that’s the case why not check out SILKFAIR

SILKFAIR is a brand new online marketplace that has just gone live! You can sell pretty much whatever the heck you want to
The site allows for payments to be made and accepted from all the big online payment processing websites, such as paypal and google checkout, you can link to your existing eBay feedback and rating scores so people can see you are a good trader right away and one of the neatest features I have seen on the site is that you can easily include videos in your listing, what a great way to really sell your product – give a demonstration! The good news? FREE FREE FREE, the only fees you pay are a 3% final sales fee, it’s free to set up a shop with them, it’s free to list your items. I can’t wait to give it a go myself, I have long since been waiting for someone to knock eBay off their perch!

I am registering right now, I am looking to buy some new work out clothes – with having lost 3 stone I think it’s about time, my current jogging pants are very loose on me but I have been putting off buying some new ones. I am also going to list and try and sell some of my old equipment – weights that are too light for me now, my old mini stepper etc.

Although the purpose of this site is to mark the progress of my personal weight loss journey, I like the idea of it being read and followed by people, it keeps me accountable and also makes me want to try harder and maybe even be an inspiration to people at some point. So I am always looking at ways to advertise the site and bring in more readers.

This is where sites like SubmitSiteNow> come in very handy, the site is very easy to use and has really affordable prices compared to many of the other Search Engine Optimisation companies out there. They also have a great Tips and Tools page. Perhaps you also have a site you’d like to drive traffic to, so why not Sign Up Now To Get Massive Hits To Your Website!

So I managed to lose a pound this week, great news…but it has left me confused. I usually exercise 5 days a week for any where from 60 – 75 minutes, and I am lucky if I lose any thing, I consider it a good week if I don’t gain.

With my elliptical out of action for the last 2 weeks, and having done a grand total of 2 hours exercise in that time…I lost 2lb, one each week. Both times when I stepped on the scale, based on the knowledge that despite working hard I often lose nothing, I was telling myself ‘As long as I havn’t gained more than a pound I will be happy’. This makes me wonder if I am doing something wrong, the last time I was unable to exercise for a week because I was away I dropped 3 lbs, my joint highest ever weight loss in a week.

What am I doing wrong that means I lose more weight, when I am not working out?

This is yesterdays food and activity log, this is something I am going to try and do on a regular basis, I certainly won’t be doing it daily as I log this on another website and doing it here also seems redundant. But I will do it if I feel I am doing really well, or going off track a little in order to keep me accountable.

Tea: Chicken Pasta & Green beans – 400 calories

Breakfast: 2 Slices of medium toast with low cal strawberry jam – 200 calories

Dinner: Vegetable soup & green beans – 200 calories

Snack 1: Crisps – 90 calories

Snack 2: Chicken, a crab stick, 3x cherry tomatoes & bettroot – 100 calories

Drinks: Juice & tea – 30 calories

Total: 1020

Exersize: None

—

Eep not a good day, zero exersize and almost 200 calories too few – that’s actually pretty rare, I do usually eat at least 1200 – 1400. And I had a packet of crisps, something I am trying to limit.

Must do better.

We have been together for almost 5 years, we are engaged, we have a very good relationship – the only down side being that we don’t live together, in the UK it’s very difficult to get on the property ladder these days. But it will happen one day, I am sure of it He bought me 14 beautiful neon roses for the big deal, sweet
