I finally got around to watching last weeks episode of The Biggest Loser USA, I am compleeeeeetly heartbroken that Bernie was eliminated – he’s been my favourite since the beginning. I used to really like his partner Brittany as well, but in the week that Paul was voted off she really wound me up and became very ‘High School’ – any way the main reason I am mentioning this, I finally worked out who that obnoxious Dan kid from the blue team reminds me of, it has been bugging me the whole season – I kept thinking it was someone I actually knew in real life, after exhausting my list of every one I have ever known I decided it must be someone from a TV show but it just would not come to me. Well, coincidentally after I had watched the episode…I watched last weeks episode of Family Guy, and finally…finally it twigged.

I wish I had been able to find a picture of Dan with his blue shirt on to show off the similarity best, but I think this still works. Honestly, if I didn’t know that Chris Griffin was a cartoon character and therefore it isn’t physically possible, I’d be convinced they were twins.

One thing that I like to do, is go camping or caravaning – myself and my other half have done it at least once a year since we got together. Last year however, due to circumstances we didn’t end up getting to go any where because at the time we were planning to go something else came up! So I am going through withdrawal a little at the moment, it’s been almost a year and a half since we last went to the campsite we like in Skegness.
I have friends who think I am strange for enjoying camping, they don’t understand how I am satisfied in a tiny tent without basic amenities and hair straighteners haha. But camping has so many advantages, including of course the price – camping is so much cheaper than staying in even the most basic of hotels or bed and breakfasts. And I don’t know about you guys but when we go on holiday we like to go out and actually do things, activities, eating, walking, sunbathing if the weather allows, shopping, theme parks, pubs etc, the tent is just the base used only for sleeping, only the minimum amount of time possible is spent actually in it and on the camp site. Usually we stick to places in the UK, always by the coast because a camping trip without the beach and sea is like fish without chips, but maybe this year I can convince the other half to branch out and take me a little further afield, maybe we can even look into Camping Holidays in France – a trip across the channel would be awesome

I was only without my old elliptical for 2 weeks, but it felt like a whole lot longer. I got my new elliptical on Monday, I have used it 6 times since, but I can only manage 45 minutes on it at the moment – I was doing 75 on my old one. I can’t decide if I just got that much less fitter in the 2 weeks I wasn’t on it daily, or if it’s actually somehow working me harder.

I am about to go and weigh in for the week, it’ll be interesting to see how I go – after losing weight 2 weeks in a row when I wasn’t working out – I’m going to find it very hard to continue to motivate myself to work out next week, if I havn’t lost this week. Why bust my ass working out all week, when apparently I don’t need to, right?
