I have been on this weight loss journey of mine for coming up to three years now, I started out at 15 stone 10 pounds in February 2007 – I like to think that I am at least somewhat of a success story and know what I am talking about. I am by no means an expert, but a lot of my family and friends do come to me for advice.

I have often thought that I should write ebooks with my tips in them, but who’d buy them? There is so much information out there already why would someone buy something from a ‘no one’ like me?

Well I came across missupload.com a few days ago and it looks like it might be the perfect solution – it’s a Free File Hosting site but you can earn money when people download one of your files. You get 25mbs of space for free which would be plenty of space to house a few short ebooks – then when your file has been downloaded 1000 times you get $10 sent to your paypal account. They also have a premium service where you can get up to 500mbs of space, faster downloads and no adverts.

It isn’t going to cost me any thing except some of my free time to write the book so I am definitely going to give it a go and see how long it would take me to get 1000 downloads

If it works out I will definitely consider going for a premium account.

I’m not much of a cook, in fact…I am not a cook at all. The less time in the kitchen the better!

I am terrible at it and I don’t enjoy it, but today I did some cooking — I made some healthy onion bahjis, I absolutely love them and have been eating them a lot lately, trying to fit them in to my days calorie allowance etc.

The ones I made are 25 calories each and the bought ones are 50 calories each, I halved them, and they taste just as nice if not nicer. Now I can eat twice as many, or just have one as I always have 25 cals to spare on a snack.

I am impressed with myself

Thank you to those who have commented here lately, when I created this blog I really only created it for myself but I have found recieving comments and visiting other peoples sites who are also losing weight is very motivational

Worst.News.Ever though…well, not quite, but my home elliptical broke last night. I have had it since November and used it happily for 5 days a week since, last night after a few minutes use it started to make this awful grinding noise, after another few minutes it became more and more difficult to use. I stepped off it and had a poke around, trying to see if I could work out where the noise was coming from. When I got back on it a few moments later it would simply not move, not an inch, not even with two people on it trying to get it moving – what the heck?! Does any one happen to have any idea what might have happened? I have contacted the place I bought it from and they have said to return it, but they no longer sell that one so it won’t be replaced…that means I will be without a home machine for many weeks as I try and find a reasonably priced replacement…so I would much rather fix it. Has the flywheel gone? Has the magnetic thingy gone?

Ahh, I just don’t know what to do with myself without it. I am not yet ready for working out in public. I’d go out and buy some sort of fitness DVD but of course my DVD player just happens to be broken also. Ha. Oh what to do what to do.
