			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So, I am now 15 days and 10 workouts into my 30 day challenge on EA Sports Active, and I am enjoying it. It&#8217;s a lot more fun than Wii Fit for sure and I like that you do something different every day &#8211; last night it had me doing squats that you have to stay in for 1 minute for the first time and oh my word&#8230;.that hurt&#8230;I have never done that before! It also burns a lot more calories than I ever could on Wii Fit and opens your eyes to things you might not have considered before, like I love the tennis and boxing exercises on it so may well go and take a class in them or something.</p>
<p>In terms of weight loss&#8230;no change. But what&#8217;s new? I am at the stage now where I think I could go a week without food and I wouldn&#8217;t lose any weight. It&#8217;s just not shifting no matter what I do.</p>
<p>I also don&#8217;t see or feel any change in my muscles/tone which is a shame as I had expected to, but my other half commented that my arms are looking much thinner so maybe it&#8217;s just that I can&#8217;t see it? I really should have taken my measurements before I started &#8212; the last logged ones I have are a few months old.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So with the treadmill having gone back and the weight not shifting through my usual methods at the moment &#8212; I went out and got EA Sports Active, I had heard a lot of good things about it and people were saying it was a lot better for getting a serious workout than Wii Fit, which I never really rated.</p>
<p>I am about half way through the 30 day challenge so far and I do really enjoy it, the games are fun but also knackering and I am feeling the benefits.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s no way it would provide enough of a workout on it&#8217;s own though, so I have been having 2 sessions per day &#8212; one on the elliptical and one on Ea Sports.</p>
<p>I have still not lost any more weight but I am going to see it through until the end of the 30 days.</p>
<p>If it still hasn&#8217;t worked I am really at a loss as to what to do next, I think I may have to start experimenting with eliminating things from my diet to see if it has an effect&#8230;aka a few weeks of drinking only water, a few weeks of completely cutting out all salt, a few weeks on low/no carbs etc.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well this week has been a bit of a bust exercise wise, I had planned to really go for it this week &#8212; I was going to do at least 60 minutes elliptical each day and then an hour on the new Wii Fit, aiming to burning at least 800 calories per day. However I have been unwell all bloomin week, the only day i felt OK was yesterday but I had been on a 5 hour shopping spree after getting just a few hours sleep so I was too wiped to do anything.</p>
<p>Oh well, hopefully tomorrow I will feel better. I am now very eager to get down to 10.10 for a total of 5 stone lost <img src='http://www.losingpounds.org/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well as predicated, the weigh in did not go great&#8230;I had gained a pound or two&#8230;I am now back at 10.11 &#8212; which sucks because I now have to lose 1 lb to get back down to the 5 stone lost in total milestone &#8211; doh.</p>
<p>The migraine continued for a few more days, so last night was the first time I worked out &#8212; I did an hour on the Wii Fit. Tonight I will get on my elliptical for the first time in many days. I hate working out, really, even after 2 years I still do&#8230;but I have to admit I <em>have</em> missed it.</p>
<p>I did have some good news (or, a good experience more like) yesterday though when I went shopping for a wedding outfit &#8212; it was so nice to be able to just pick up items, dresses and fancy tops and skirts I wouldn&#8217;t normally even consider, try them on and like them &#8212; I was discarding things because they weren&#8217;t weddingy enough, or because the weren&#8217;t bright enough etc, rather than because they didn&#8217;t fit or I didn&#8217;t like the way I looked in them.</p>
<p>I came home with two size 14 items, and one size 12.</p>
<p><strong>Size 12</strong></p>
<p>I have not been in a size 12 since I was a teenager <img src='http://www.losingpounds.org/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I had finally decided that it was time for me to brave the outside this year, and start jogging and walking again.</p>
<p>The weather had started to get better, spring had sprung and winter was gone &#8212; so I went out and treated myself to new <a href="http://www.webtogs.co.uk/Brasher/">walking boots</a> and a few hoodies in preparation. I almost got some new running shoes as well as my old ones are getting a little on the worn side, but decided that I would try hold off for a little while to see if I could get a killer bargain on some &#8212; I had done enough splurging for one week.</p>
<p>Of course on the day I had decided to start, the weather had turned nasty, really nasty.</p>
<p>High winds, pouring rain and freezing cold. It is like being back in the worst of the winter weather this week, isn&#8217;t that just typical luck?</p>
<p>I suppose ultimately it doesn&#8217;t matter, the weather will come good again soon enough and then I will be fully prepared with my new gear &#8212; it&#8217;s just I find it difficult to motivate myself into outside exercise so when I am ready for it and then can&#8217;t do it it is awfully frustrating!</p>
<p>I will just have to stick with my elliptical and Wii Fit this week, I am going to attempt to do two hours each day again this week. I did it last week and was initially really disappointed because I had not lost any weight, but when I weighed in again last night I had lost a pound&#8230;so will now definitely repeat the effort this week, I would be thrilled if I could lose 1 pound per week <img src='http://www.losingpounds.org/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
